Homemade Fruit Leather


  • 4 Shine Organics pouches
  • Parchment Paper or Silpat
  • Baking Sheet

Heat your oven to 170. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat liner. Squeeze out the contents of the 4 pouches onto the paper or silpat and spread into a an even layer (a spatula is super helpful here). Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 6 hours, or until the applesauce has dried and is no longer super sticky and shiny. Let the leather cool for 15 minutes.

If you are using the Silpat, place a sheet of parchment paper on top on the fruit leather and peel back the Silpat. With the parchment paper still lining the fruit leather, cut it into strips and store in an airtight container.
