PB & Shine

PB & J gets a healthy makeover in this recipe that swaps jelly for the natural sweetness of our Shine Organics blends and fresh fruit.

You’ll Need

  • Sliced Bread (we love whole grain loaves packed with nuts and seeds for extra crunch)
  • Peanut Butter (or any favorite Nut Butter)
  • Shine Organics pouch (try all four blends to see which flavor suits your taste buds)
  • Fresh Fruit

Make It

Crisp up your favorite piece of bread, slather it with peanut butter, top with your favorite Shine Organics blend, layer with fresh fruit slices, and slice into mini treats to savor or share.

Calm Banana Pancakes

Swap sugar with a dab of honey and a blend of fruit in our Shine Organics CALM pouch (featuring banana, coconut, blackberry, passionflower, vanilla, and chia). These subtly sweet pancakes are super light thanks to the fruit puree. Ripe bananas sitting on the counter sweeten the deal when layered between each warm pancake.

You’ll Need

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • pinch of salt

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1/2 cup milk (substitute: almond or coconut)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (substitute: coconut oil)

  • 1 Shine Organics Calm Pouch

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 very ripe bananas

Make It

In a small bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda and salt. In a second small bowl, lightly beat the egg and stir in the melted butter, honey, milk and contents of the Calm pouch. Mix well. Gradually whisk the wet ingredients into the dry mix, whisking until the batter is smooth.



Heat a small pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or coconut oil. Scoop 1/4 cup of the batter for each pancake. Flip after 1 minute or when the pancake is golden brown (and let brown on the other side). Thinly slice the ripe banana and layer between each warm pancake as you cook them (note that the warmth of the pancakes will help further soften the banana). Serve immediately (optional: serve with maple syrup for extra sweetness). makes 6 mini pancakes



Yogurt Swirl Pumpkin Parfait

Greek yogurt & sweet notes from our Elevate pouch team up in this layered morning treat topped with toasted pumpkin seeds for extra crunch. Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this pretty orange hue? After all, we eat with our eyes first.

You’ll Need

  • Greek yogurt (we prefer plain to let the Shine Organics pouch flavors pop)
  • Elevate Shine Organics pouch (try all four blends to see which flavor suits your taste buds)
  • Unsalted toasted pumpkin seeds

Make It

Spoon in greek yogurt and then top with a drizzle of our Elevate pouch (repeat until you’ve filled your glass). Generously sprinkle pumpkin seeds on the top layer of your parfait (or between every layer). Note that we use greek yogurt since the rich texture helps to create individual layers.
